Privacy

OpenSignl is a private-beta writing and publishing assistant. This notice explains what the product stores and why.

Information you provide

We store your Clerk account identifier, profile answers, writing samples, writing rules, work moments, saved drafts, approvals, and publishing preferences so the product can provide its core service. When you connect a publishing account, encrypted credentials and provider account details are stored for approved publishing actions.

Research and AI processing

OpenSignl sends the minimum relevant prompt context to configured AI providers to research topics, generate drafts, and run quality checks. Direct source URLs are kept with researched topics and draft receipts. Optional external detector results appear only when those services are configured and return a valid response.

How information is used

We use product data to provide, secure, debug, and improve OpenSignl. We do not sell personal information. OpenSignl does not publish a draft until you approve that exact draft and choose Post now or Schedule.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account and product data from Settings. Tenant data is removed from the live application database, while security logs, encrypted inbound envelopes, and provider backups may remain for up to 30 days where needed for fraud prevention, recovery, or legal duties. You can also request deletion at hello@opensignl.com.

Security and isolation

User records are scoped by the authenticated Clerk user ID and protected by database row-level security. Publishing and channel credentials are encrypted at rest. No internet service can promise perfect security, so please avoid submitting secrets that are not needed for a draft.

Contact

Questions, access requests, and deletion requests can be sent to hello@opensignl.com.
